FAQ Brushes
What are the bristles made of?
The bristles of our Brushes are made from natural Red Sable hair, which is indistinguishable from the real thing. They offer the perfect softness and flexibility for even and precise makeup application. The bristles are carefully designed to hold powder and only release when the Brush touches the skin.
What are the handles made of?
The handles of the Brushes are made of solid Birch Wood. They are handcrafted in the EU, ensuring years of enjoyment.
How do you clean the Brushes?
You can easily clean your Brushes with water and a Brush shampoo or cleaner. Follow these steps:
- Wet the bristles of the Brush with lukewarm water, but make sure that the water does not get into the metal ferrule to prevent loosening of the bristles.
- Put a little Brush shampoo or cleaner in your palm and gently rub the Brush around in it to loosen the product and dirt.
- Rinse the Brush thoroughly under lukewarm water until the water runs clear.
- Gently squeeze the excess water out of the bristles and shape them back to their original state.
- Let the Brushes dry flat on a clean towel, with the bristles slightly over the edge of the table, so that they retain their shape.
What makes our Brushes different from others?
Our brushes are handmade and specially designed for Mineral Makeup. They prevent powder wastage, are gentle on the skin, and offer precision thanks to their unique shapes. The durable wooden handles stay beautiful, without lacquer that can flake.
Why do you choose synthetic bristles?
Synthetic bristles are indistinguishable from real ones and offer numerous advantages:
- They are super soft and animal-friendly.
- They absorb product well without being too absorbent.
- They are more hygienic and easier to clean.
Can I use the same Kabuki Brush for multiple products?
Yes, especially with Mineral Makeup. Powder does not stick in the bristles like with liquid products. As a result, you can easily apply Primer, Foundation and Setting Powder with the same Kabuki Brush. Still, it is recommended to use separate brushes for products like Bronzer and Blush to avoid color transfer.
How long do the Brushes last?
With proper maintenance, brushes can last for years. Handmade, quality brushes with synthetic bristles and durable handles stay in good condition for a long time.
What is the best way to store my Brushes?
- Standing in a holder to maintain shape.
- Away from damp places to prevent mold.
Where are the Brushes manufactured and are they FSC certified?
Our Brushes are manufactured with care in the European Union. We value quality, durability and environmental friendliness in our production process. The wood carries the FSC seal of approval.
What does it mean that the Brushes are FSC labeled?
The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) label. guarantees that the wood used in our brushes comes from responsibly managed forests. This means that production takes into account the environment, biodiversity and the rights of local people.
Why is the FSC label important?
The label provides assurance that our brushes are produced in a sustainable and ethically responsible manner. By doing so, we contribute to better protection of forests worldwide and support environmentally friendly production.
Kundenrezensionen
